Summer is coming, the willows are green, the flowers are open, but the skin is red.

In the late spring and early summer of a year, the sunshine time gradually becomes longer, the ultraviolet light also becomes stronger, the temperature rises and falls, pollen and catkins float around, which are the culprits causing allergies. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, you should also be wary of skin allergies.

1. What are allergies?

Allergic diseases are pathological immune response diseases in which the body is continuously or repeatedly stimulated by specific allergens resulting in functional disorders and/or tissue damage.

2. Want to go out for a beautiful outing, how to prevent allergies?

1.Do a good job of cleaning: remove irritation, try to choose weakly acidic cleanser products, so that the skin can maintain its original after cleaningPHThe value does not destroy the normal lipid structure of the skin.

Pay attention to sun protection: many allergic skin diseases should avoid sun exposure. If you need to go outside, use an umbrella, wear a hat, and use sunscreen sensibly.

Skin moisturizing: skin moisturizing is very important, our skin barrier function needs to be in moist conditions, in order to better resist the damage of external stimuli to the skin. Choose regular brand skin care products. And don't switch skin care products too often.

Pay attention to diet: eat less or not eat light sensitive food, such as celery, coriander, carrots, lemons, strawberries, etc.; Avoid spicy stimulating food, light diet.

Life is also important: often clean the room, pet hair, dander, dust mites, fungi and so on are common allergens, indoor display of flowers and plants, may also be the potential factors of allergies, so try to reduce the display of such items at home.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle: less smoking, less drinking, less staying up late, regular work and rest, keep a good mood, avoid emotional agitation.

Avoid exposure to known and clear allergens.

3. How to deal with skin allergies?

If the skin has only slight erythema, no obvious edema, itching, avoid contact with suspected allergens in time, and choose moisturizing, soothing, anti-inflammatory and repairing medical skin care products to protect the skin and maintain the normal barrier function of the skin.

If the symptoms of redness, swelling and itching are obvious, topical and oral drugs can be used under the guidance of a doctor to relieve discomfort and improve symptoms.

Severe allergies can affect the functions of the respiratory tract, digestive tract and immune system, resulting in systemic symptoms such as anaphylactic shock and diarrhea, requiring prompt medical attention.

For repeated skin allergies, you can go to the hospital for allergen detection to help find out the real culprit.

4. Elderly skin allergy precautions?

The elderly are prone to dry skin due to reduced oil secretion, and the skin is more sensitive to various external stimuli. If skin allergies and itching occur, emollients can be used together to keep the skin in a certain humidity and moisture, reduce itching symptoms and promote the relief of allergy symptoms.

If the elderly have basic diseases such as liver disease and kidney disease, or have more chronic diseases, such as skin allergies, they need to see a regular hospital dermatologist, avoid blind use of drugs for anti-allergy treatment or use of "folk remedies" of unknown origin, so as to avoid more serious liver and kidney damage or drug interactions.
